Breakfast Is the Most Important Meal of the Day

 

Are you a breakfast eater? Do you like breakfast foods? Are you aware that the best, most important meal of the day is breakfast? Do you know why that is?

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day because it energizes your body, and it energizes you mind and your soul to be able to get you going throughout the day. The best thing about breakfast is that you can have whole grains and proteins, and the more you are able to eat, it will keep your body nourished, so that way you will not be snacking throughout the day.

The best things for you that you can eat for breakfast is oatmeal. You can eat eggs or yogurt. You can eat fruit like oranges or mangoes or pineapples. You can also eat almonds, mix it in with the yogurt, and you can put in fruit like strawberries or blueberries, and eat it that way. You can also eat eggs with spinach and feta cheese.

When you eat your whole grains, you want to make sure if it’s a bread of sort… when you look on the back of the package, it says “whole grains” as the very first ingredient. If it is not listed as the very first ingredient, it is not considered whole grain.

So, today when you wake up, if you have already waken up and already eaten breakfast, plan tomorrow’s breakfast with a whole grain and some protein. In that way throughout the day, you won’t be snacking as much, and you have a very healthy breakfast. No junk food, no fast food. It has to be healthy, so you will nourish your mind, nourish your body, nourish your soul, and you will feel healthier. You won’t feel as sluggish you normally would be throughout the day, if you were to have eaten junk food or fast food.

And another tip about breakfast… should you be a coffee drinker (I know I am), have you ever felt afterwards your mouth being really dry, or just all sore from the coffee that you drink? Do you know how much coffee you should be drinking throughout the day?

On average, a person should be drinking one to two glasses of coffee a day. if you do sugar, the best thing for you is sweeteners, or you can use one teaspoon sugar, as long as you do not go over three teaspoons of sugar a day in your coffee. The best thing you can do after you drink your coffee so your mouth doesn’t feel so dry from drinking all that warm, hot coffee, is to drink lemon water.

What the lemon water will do, is that it will re-freshen your mouth. It will make your mouth feel alive again, because the lemons inside will be able to quench the dryness from drinking the coffee. So, if you are a breakfast eater, and you like your coffee, yet you have a dry mouth afterwards, try the lemon water. It works!
