6 Ways to Heal A Pulled Hamstring

 

There are six ways to heal a pulled hamstring.  Before I go into detail, you must know first what a hamstring is.

What Is A Hamstring?

WebMD defines a hamstring as “a group of four muscles that run along the back of your thigh. They allow you to bend your leg at the knee.”


What Causes A Pulled (Strained) Hamstring? 

Pulled (strained) hamstrings are caused by too much running, too much jumping, or too much of sudden stopping and standing movements. They are also caused by not warming up or stretching enough prior to your physical activity or exercise. If you have weak glutes, muscles in your hip, you will experience pulled (strained) hamstrings.

How Long Does It Take to Heal A Pulled  (Strained) Hamstring?

It takes time to heal a pulled  (strained) hamstring. However, there are six ways to heal a pulled (strained) hamstring to speed up the process, in which I cover in the video below. You don’t want to rush this process, though.
