Rendezvous

 Rendezvous

Rendezvous – it feels so right.

One touch, two silhouettes casting a spell

And shining through the early morning light.

Never feel alone

In a time of need, in a time of virtue.

That their love has shown.

moon

The break of dawn cursed by the moon.

The sun shining down on a mid-morning’s loon.

Fly away and break the spell.

There’s a place to go to

Where lovers can rendezvous.

silhouettes

It feels so right to hold so tight.

Will it all just be memories fading away,

Or will it just be a friendly face

With so many questions and not enough answers.

The break of dawn cursed by the moon.

The sun shining down on a mid-morning’s loon.

Fly away and break the spell,

Fly away and ask yourself,

Is there a place to go to

Where lovers can rendezvous.

By the dawn’s early light

Two silhouettes casting a shadow

Beyond the break of doubt

Two hearts with one mind

Loving in a way that no one can tear them apart.

Never feel alone

In a time of need, in a time of virtue

That all the love has shown.

The break of dawn cursed by the moon.

The sun shining down on a mid-morning’s loon.

Fly away and break the spell,

Fly away and ask yourself,

Where is there a place to go to

Where lovers can rendezvous.
