In My Own Words

My Weight

My Weight

I have always had a problem with my weight since I was a kid. I was bullied because of it. I went from being bulemic to anorexic back to bulemic. To caring to not caring about my body and image. Until one day in my 30s I was so fat I couldn’t get into a pair of khakis for work, and I looked at the size of them, and they were a 24 W. I hated myself for getting so fat, and I refused to buy another pair of pants in which what size they would be I did not want to know – they either would have been a 26 W or 28 W. I would end up not knowing, because I ended up at Weight Watchers that week. I have done Weight Watchers since and have lost 94.2 pounds so far. I became a Lifetime member in June 2012.

In December of 2013 I needed a change because my weight was fluctuating again, and I wanted to do something about it, but what I did not know. I started to use the Weight Watchers exercise DVDs in November of 2013, but by the middle of December I got bored with them. Then I saw an infomercial on TV late one night, and it changed my life.

It was called T25, and there was a hot guy in it that was very motivating. I bought T25 that night, and on January 6th, 2014, I started a T25 Challenge Group, which was led by my Team BeachBody coach, Laura Tridico. I lost about 11 pounds and about 7 inches, and I am forever a Shaun T girl. And I am now a Team BeachBody coach, which I think is the best thing that could have ever happened to me. I am now very aware of the foods I eat; I was cheating a lot with Weight Watchers, which is why it took me about 6 years to lose those pounds. And I have never felt better, and I never thought I could ever look the way I do now. And I am no longer bulemic or anorexic. I am finally happy with my weight.
