Why My Blog Has Been Down

Why My Blog Has Been Down

On Friday, May 15th, 2015, while sparring in Tae Kwon Do class, I had experienced a sharp pain in my left foot and ended up in the hospital a couple hours later with my big left toe that would not stop bleeding. It turned out I had a fractured open toe, and for 6 weeks after May 20th, I was in a 15 – 20 pound plaster cast all the way up to my left knee because of the fractured open toe.

I was put on an ordered 6 week medical leave from work, which was an unpaid medical leave. During that time, due to no income flow, my Internet was cut off. I attempted to run my blog with the Internet from my phone, but it drove up my phone bill because of the increase in my data. So I had to stop running my blog and just run my two pages on Facebook with my phone Internet.

The cast is now off, but the post-op boot is not. I have had to wear it since May 20th, and I cannot take it off until my podiatrist tells me I can. My toe is not healing fast enough, and I have to wear a bone stimulator around the big left toe at night while I sleep – those are the instructions I have to follow until the bones heal. But a complication is keeping me from doing this – the specialist who was contacted by my podiatrist is not communicating with me, and I still have yet to receive the bone stimulator. My podiatrist is aware of this issue, and I still have not yet  received this bone stimulator for my toe. It’s not that painful as it was, but it does have its moments.

About 4 months later, as of today, I am waiting on my Internet service provider tech to turn on my Internet service once again from the outside pole. When that will be, I do not know. I was told yesterday, that it would be between 7 :00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. today; it is now 12:15 p.m., and it still is not yet turned on. And that is why my blog has been down. When it does get turned back on, my blog will be back up and running – with a few new surprises for you all.
